Big Obsidian Flow 2019
The Big Obsidian Flow is south of Bend, Oregon, and one of the most astonishing places I have been. It is a one square mile eruption of black glass and pumice that flowed out a mere 1300 years ago. Standing in the middle of this rock and glass landscape is something I will never get tired of doing.
